In the Season 2 opener, the gals change it up by getting off their couches, putting the bon bons away, and getting back on the mic. But that’s not all the change coming their way.

It’s Spring Break Holy Fuckers!! We are so out of here! (But not to worry we are just on holiday!)

In Episode 39, the Season One Finale, Krista’s life has hit max capacity and Katherine’s life needs some time to enjoy new love, so the gals are being led by Spirit to rest, have some fun, and possibly some sexy time (well at least for Katherine)! 

It has been a wild ride this year as the Gals have got married (so to speak), and given birth to their crazy new lives! This rapid pace of expansion has Krista’s exhaustion level at an all time high so it’s time for the gals to learn a lesson in self-care, honoring their personal needs above everything else. and spending some time with their inner children. (Not to mention Spirit was totally blocking the creative flow from flowin’.) 

So the gals are taking their own advice, and having some Faith (Ep:38) that a break is the natural, next step for the podcast. But not to worry! The gals are using their R&R time to regroup and vision for season 2, coming soon!

‘Cause you gotta have faith! In episode 38, the girls surrender to the unknown and allow a path of discovery to guide them to a lesson in faith. As the path unfurls, Krista discusses the continuing saga of her and Golden Eyes and the ways in which the “safety box” she has created for them is not so safe after all. Katherine on the other hand moves through some heart palpitations around commitment. As she is very much living in a committed relationship, she notices that she is feeling tender about shouting it to the world. Can the gals surrender their preconceived notions of safety and relax into the possibilities of the unknown?

As Krista and Katherine were commiserating on the phone, the book, “I Need Your Love- Is That True?,” by Byron Katie literally jumped off the bookshelf, knocking Katherine on the head. But was the book meant for Katherine who was in the throes of new love or for Krista who was in the quagmire of breakup, struggling to find a way out of hurt and despair?

Boy (Girl!) has she grown. This has been an interesting journey from long distance lovin’ to love in her own backyard.

The gals were gifted a video by an interested party (Interested in getting to “know” Katherine better that is.)

In episode 35 the gals are intrigued by the concept of clarifying the meaning of sex with your new partner prior to having sex. “What does it mean to you to have sex with me?” With this question the Gals explore many different meanings people can attach to having sex. 

The timing is perfect to contemplate this topic as Katherine is waxed and ready to see where her hot date will lead. Will they decide to just snuggle? Will breakfast be expected in the morning? Or will sex for one of them be too much of a commitment? Is it just fun or is there a spiritual experience behind it!

Revenge...Is it sweet or does it eventually bite you in the ass? 

Have you ever wanted someone else to hurt as much as you are hurting? Yep, like that! The little town of Ojai, CA is just the place to test your spiritual fortitude! Some will choose a gunslinger strategy like Hatfields and McCoys (shooting across Main Street) while others will be more aligned with peace building (like K & K are trying desperately to do.)

The Gals find themselves saying phrases like… “It’s not fair! Why me? Why won’t he go away? What did I do to deserve this???” It is easy to see the victim story come alive and it’s so understandable to want to hurt someone who hurts us. But it’s a lie ya’ll. K & K talk about powerlessness, gossip, and withholding sex as a type of revenge. Are you punishing your loved ones in order to have more power? The Gals know these temptations all too well! These responses feel good for a minute or two, but then they keep you in the fight! Katherine clearly relates after 10 years of ‘going around’ with a person in her life and Krista begins to look inside herself for where her projection and self-judgment is hiding as she demonstrates her real desire to find peaceful power, not against-ness and blame.
